ScienceOpen for Faculties and Research Groups
ScienceOpen is a freely accessible, interactive research communication platform with the technological infrastructure to support multi-dimensional search and discovery, community curation and researcher networking. We offer space for free researcher-led topical collections within our discovery environment, as well as interactive tools and support for authors to promote their work and track their progress.
Faculties and research groups may be interested in creating a collection or network of collections that represent different aspects of their work, regardless of the publisher or journal. Collections can be flexibly used for educational purposes, such as a reading list for new members, for journal club discussion or as a training ground for open peer review. They can also act as a showcase for faculty output – with dynamic search and sort functionalities. Or they can be used to promote departmental journals, publish conference posters or proceedings, or create new overlay journals combined with preprints.
- Create a topical Collection – individual researchers should apply for Editor status
- Explore post-publication peer review functionalities to train young researchers
- Promote your work with our author-promotion tools by adding lay summaries, sharing and tracking your usage
- Use our free dynamic search and filtering of over 60 million articles and records at journal, publisher, author and collection level
Beyond our free products for researchers, the ScienceOpen technology can be customized to meet your faculty needs. We offer services ranging from poster publishing, content hosting, repository software, promotion, and open access journal publishing.
